Risk and Control Reporting Lead

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Risk and Control Reporting Lead to join their dynamic team. As a Risk and Control Reporting Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting the risk management and control functions within the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to driving actionable insights, aligning successfully with the company's commitment to excellence and integrity.

Job Title: Risk and Control Reporting Lead

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (On-site 3 days a week) 

What's the Job?

• Provide comprehensive oversight of application risk and control performance, including monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Single Process Inventory (SPI) controls.
• Identify issues, escalate risks, and drive remediation efforts to ensure timely resolution of control gaps and audit findings.
• Represent the organization in risk governance forums, facilitating stakeholder alignment and maintaining strong risk visibility.
• Oversee key risk domains such as Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management (IAM), infrastructure risk, and cyber controls.
• Utilize data analytics to analyze large datasets, distill complex information into actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making.

What's Needed?

• At least 5 years of experience in technology risk, governance, audit, or controls.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to analyze large data files and extract meaningful insights.
• Experience with risk metrics frameworks and a proven track record in risk reporting and issue management.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience working within financial institutions or similar regulated environments is a plus.
