Job Description:
About the Role
We're seeking a Digital Content Manager for a 6-month contract to coordinate a focused content revamp and web redesign initiative at Marvell. With a content agency and web design firm already engaged and actively working, this role is the glue between three teams — content strategy, product marketing, and web design — ensuring they move in the same direction, at the same pace, toward the same goals.
The scope covers about 15–20 pages of new product and topic content delivered over two phases, developed in parallel with a homepage overhaul and product component redesigns. You will not be writing content, but you will be deeply embedded in it — understanding what's being written, how it connects to Marvell's evolving messaging framework, and ensuring the web team brings it to life with the right emphasis and hierarchy.
This role requires genuine judgment. Content approvals will typically route through product and portfolio marketing teams, but depending on the strategic depth of a topic, may require executive approval. Knowing when to escalate — and how — is as important as keeping the process moving.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the central coordinator across content writers, product marketing, and the web design — the person everyone looks to for status, direction, and alignment
- Run weekly syncs across workstreams; keep all parties informed of priorities, dependencies, and upcoming decisions
- Review content and design deliverables at each stage, identifying misalignments against Marvell's messaging framework before they reach approval
- Work closely with product marketing to stay current on messaging updates or strategic shifts, and communicate relevant changes to the writing and design teams in real time
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to schedule input sessions and ensure content accuracy at the right stages of development
- Own the content approval workflow — tracking reviews, routing to the right approvers (product marketing, portfolio marketing, or executive stakeholders), and managing feedback cycles to keep both phases on schedule
- Exercise judgment on approval escalation: understand when product or portfolio marketing sign-off is sufficient and when a topic's strategic weight requires executive review
- Maintain a clear, up-to-date view of page status across all 15–20 pages in scope and surface risks or blockers early
- What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in digital content production, content operations, or program coordination in a B2B technology environment
- Proven experience working across content, design, and marketing teams simultaneously — you understand how each team thinks and what they need from each other
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships at multiple levels, including senior and executive approvers
- Hands-on familiarity with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) as a publishing and content environment
- Comfortable working in Figma to review design comps and provide informed feedback on content-layout interaction
- Proficient in Jira or Workfront for project tracking and workstream management
- Strong communicator with a natural instinct for clarity over assumption; skilled at translating between content, design, and product marketing perspectives
- Understanding of UX content principles and how messaging hierarchy shapes page design decisions
- Experience operating within or alongside an active messaging framework build-out
- Familiarity with semiconductor, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise technology products
- Background coordinating SME reviews or content approvals in a technical B2B setting
- Prior experience in a vendor/agency coordination role where you managed multiple external partners simultaneously
