Community Manager

Our client, an industry leader in video game and digital entertainment, is seeking a Community Manager to join their team. As a Community Manager, you will be part of the project management department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Community Manager

Location: Remote - must work PST hours

Pay Range: $50.00

What's the Job?

  • Serve as the primary bridge between the community and internal product teams, gathering educator feedback, community insights, and user needs to help inform product development and engagement strategies.
  • Build, grow, and sustain a global community of educators, facilitators, parents, and advocates by fostering meaningful engagement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
  • Develop and execute community engagement initiatives, campaigns, events, and programs that increase awareness, adoption, and successful classroom implementation of resources.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Education, and Community stakeholders to amplify educator voices, communicate product updates, and support key business objectives.
  • Create and curate educational resources, community communications, and best-practice content that empower teachers to effectively leverage the product as a teaching and learning tool in diverse classroom environments.

What's Needed?

  • Experience building, managing, and growing online communities, with the ability to foster engagement, facilitate discussions, and cultivate inclusive environments for diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging educators, customers, community members, or other stakeholder groups and translating feedback into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of how the platform is used to support teaching, learning, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze community feedback, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams to improve products, programs, and user experiences.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills, including planning community initiatives, coordinating events or campaigns, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating effectively across global teams.
