Corporate Compliance Officer-Mandarin
A prestigious international bank located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Corporate Compliance Officer to join their growing team. This is a permanent, junior-level role (1–3 years of experience) perfect for a detail-oriented professional looking to deepen their expertise in regulatory compliance within an international banking environment.

- Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 / year
- Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: 4 days on-site at 277 Park Ave)

- Language Skill: Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese is required for this position.
Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Compliance, you will play a key support role in executing and maintaining the branch's compliance programs. This position offers excellent exposure to a wide variety of compliance functions, project management frameworks, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Execution: Support the daily execution of the Issue and Action Management Program (IAMP) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM).
- Control & Documentation: Oversee the SharePoint Control Document Management review process, ensuring strict quality standards as a departmental gatekeeper.
- Governance Support: Act as the secretary for the Branch Compliance Committee, preparing monthly presentation materials and taking precise meeting minutes.
- Advisory & Risk Assessment: Provide guidance to the first line of defense regarding compliance risk assessments, anti-fraud initiatives, and anti-bribery/corruption programs.
- Regulatory Tracking & Language Support: Monitor changes in U.S. banking laws, perform impact analyses, and assist with internal audit and regulatory exam coordination. Assist with document translation and communications involving the Head Office.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant compliance experience within the U.S. financial sector (experience with international banks is highly preferred).
- Language: Professional fluency/bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal) is required to manage translations and Head Office communications.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of U.S. banking regulations, compliance risk frameworks, and commercial banking products.
- Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Work Authorization: Candidates must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
