Automation Tester

Our Fortune 500 client is looking to add an Automation Tester to join their Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Kotlin, Python, and SQL.

Job Title: Automation Tester

Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid three days per week)

Pay Range: $50-55 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Python, Playwright, JavaScript, and related tools.
• Create and execute end-to-end (E2E) automated tests to validate application functionality.
• Work with Kotlin/Java-based applications to understand application behavior and support test development.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to identify, validate, and manage test data within databases.
• Test APIs and backend services (REST/SOAP) to ensure integrations function correctly.

What’s Needed?

• 5+ years of experience as an Automation Tester in enterprise-level environments for Kotlin-based (or Java-based) applications
• Strong hands-on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Playwright or Selenium (TestNG) or Cypress
• Ability to write and optimize SQL queries to identify, validate, and manage test data within databases.
• Advanced knowledge of Python scripting for building automation frameworks and integrations into CI/CD pipelines
