Chemical Regulatory Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Chemical Regulatory Coordinator to join their team. As a Chemical Regulatory Coordinator, you will be part of the Corporate Regulatory Affairs Department supporting compliance and safety data sheet management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive communication skills, and a strong commitment to regulatory excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Chemical Regulatory Coordinator

Location: Clark, NJ

What's the Job?

  • Assess, classify, and author safety data sheets (SDS) using SAP Product Compliance solutions.
  • Prepare SDS in multiple regional formats and ensure compliance with local language requirements.
  • Review raw materials and associated toxicology/ecotoxicology information to confirm appropriate classification of mixtures.
  • Maintain and update hazard communication databases to ensure accurate and current information.
  • Perform transportation reviews to ensure hazard classification and packaging meet regulatory standards.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, environmental studies, or other science-based programs.
  • 1+ years of industry experience in regulatory compliance or related fields.
  • Experience with SDS authoring and familiarity with SAP Product Compliance/EHS modules is preferred.
  • Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and maintain self-motivation in an independent work environment.
