Application Programmer III

Our client, a leading financial services organization specializing in enterprise capital management, is seeking a dedicated Application Programmer III to join their dynamic team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be an integral part of the Enterprise Capital Management Technology (ECMT) department supporting critical regulatory programs and technology transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Support the development and maintenance of enterprise-level capital management applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Assist in replacing legacy applications within Treasury Technology through meticulous design and implementation.
• Read and interpret Python code and run reports in MicroStrategy to support regulatory compliance and analytics.
• Identify potential risks and issues, suggesting improvements to enhance system performance and compliance.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience in a techno-functional role with a focus on application support or development.
• At least 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of SQL programming, preferably with Oracle Exadata databases.
• Programming experience with Python or Java/.Net, with the ability to read and understand code.
• Deep understanding of Capital Markets, including Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations, and relevant regulations such as Basel IV, CRR, CRD IV.
