Java Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Java Developer / Lead Java Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Java Developer / Lead Java Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Software Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

• Design, develop, test, and support application migrations from existing platforms to strategic, modern platforms.
• Collaborate with multiple technology teams to ensure seamless transition and integration of applications.
• Participate in large-scale transformation projects utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
• Influence architecture decisions and platform adoption across the organization.
• Optimize application performance through profiling, tuning, and debugging.

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of experience in end-to-end application development using core Java 11+ and modern frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of database design, SQL, query tuning, and optimization.
• Proven ability to profile, optimize memory, and tune large-scale enterprise applications.
• Excellent coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Effective communication skills capable of bridging technical and business needs.
