Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Usability Researcher 2 to join their team. As a Usability Researcher 2, you will be part of the UX Research Department supporting SharePoint experiences with a focus on AI-driven workflows and enhancing customer usability. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Usability Researcher 2

Location: Redmond, WA - Hybrid 1-2 days/week onsite

Pay Range: $49/hr to $51/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Design, execute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research to deliver insightful and actionable results.
  • Continuously inform the product roadmap by identifying gaps, customer pain points, and potential delighters through customer data analysis.
  • Perform ongoing UX health studies to evaluate if design-built experiences meet release standards.
  • Communicate research findings clearly and compellingly to all levels of the product team, explaining methodology, insights, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate across engineering, design, and marketing disciplines to land impactful insights that improve user experience.

What's Needed?

  • 4+ years of experience in research methods impacting product direction and experience design within the technology sector.
  • Proficiency in qualitative user research methods such as user interviews and usability testing.
  • Experience with quantitative research methods including surveys and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with research tools/platforms like UserTesting, DScout, Qualtrics, or Marvin.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
