Our client, a leading organization in the water solutions industry, is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be part of the IT Security Department supporting the cybersecurity initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)

What's the Job?

  • Design, review, and recommend security solutions to protect the organization's IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage security tools such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-malware solutions, and endpoint security platforms.
  • Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT Engineering, or Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles focusing on engineering, architecture, and incident management.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Hands-on technical experience with problem-solving and analytics skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Security Tools (Defender, Purview, etc) is a plus.
