Quality Control Technician

Our client, a leader in the medical device and healthcare industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the production and testing of critical healthcare products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location:Scarborough, ME

Pay Range: 28/hr on w2

What's the Job?

  • Perform testing of in-process components for Lateral Flow, ELISA, and Molecular products
  • Conduct final release testing for various product types
  • Troubleshoot technical and quality issues to ensure compliance and quality standards
  • Review batch records and document results accurately
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment following GMP/GLP standards

What's Needed?

  • Associates degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 1+ years of laboratory and/or quality control experience
  • Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, and USDA regulations is preferred
  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as pipettes and pH meters is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
