Quality Assurance Consultant III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant III to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Consultant III, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting software testing and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Quality Assurance Consultant III

Location:Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: $60/hr on w2

What's the Job?

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements
• Contribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in Scrum sprints according to acceptance criteria
• Automate test cases for User-Interface (UI) and database using tools like Selenium and Tosca
• Execute manual and automated test cases, record results, and report errors and failures
• Collaborate with development teams for defect triaging and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the Agile product lifecycle

What's Needed?

• Technical BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation testing using tools like Selenium or Tosca
• Proficiency in testing User-Interface and Database changes, with experience in SQL, ETL, and Unix commands
• Experience working with Autosys scheduling and writing complex SQL queries with joins
• Strong knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Octane) and Agile methodologies
