Network Engineer II

Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Network Engineer II to join their team. As a Network Engineer II, you will be part of the Network Operations Department supporting the Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Network Engineer II

Location: Eden Prairie, MN  - HYBRID

Pay Range: $55/hr to $57/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Design, implement, and support a secure, scalable enterprise network environment
• Manage and optimize Cisco Catalyst switching and routing infrastructure
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco FMC/FTD firewalls and Cisco ISE for network access and segmentation
• Participate in firewall policy management, system upgrades, and deployment of new technologies
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation and ensure compliance with security standards

What's Needed?

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking platforms (routers, switches, Catalyst Center)
• Proven expertise in firewall policy design, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Cisco FMC/FTD firewalls, including rulebase management and IPS/AMP
• Knowledge of Cisco ISE (802.1x, TACACS+, segmentation, posture)
• Working knowledge of Cisco SDWAN deployment and operations
