Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a QA Tester to join their team. As a QA Tester, you will be part of the application development and automation team supporting the post trade back office and trade flow processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a passion for quality assurance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Tester

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite/Hybrid)

Pay Range: $50-55/hr on w2

What's the Job?

  • Collaborate with development teams to review planned stories, requirements, and automation efforts.
  • Input test plans and scenarios into testing tools and convert them into automated scripts.
  • Perform impact assessments on business requirements and changes, ensuring thorough vetting.
  • Maintain and update test artifacts including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Participate in code reviews, execute CI/CD pipelines, and generate testing reports.

What's Needed?

  • Strong knowledge and coding experience in Python or Java for test automation.
  • Proficiency in SQL to write complex queries and analyze data sets.
  • Experience in expanding automation frameworks and creating new scenarios programmatically.
  • 5-7 years of application development or automation framework development experience.
  • Prior experience working as a QE/SDET in agile/scrum teams, with a focus on backend, front end, and web service API testing.
