Production Artist / Art Director

Our client, a leading organization in the pet care and packaging industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Artist / Art Director to join their creative team. As a Production Artist / Art Director, you will be supporting the Packaging and Print Department, contributing your expertise to produce high-quality marketing collateral and packaging materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Production Artist / Art Director

Location: Saint Louis, MO (Hybrid: Monday-Thursday in office, Fridays at home)

Pay Range: $50-55

What's the Job?

• Assist in packaging and print production, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
• Create and modify digital files for printing, adhering to project specifications and deadlines
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to develop marketing collateral, including flyers and vinyl packaging
• Manage digital files efficiently, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with pre-press requirements
• Maintain consistency in branding, trademarks, and logos across all projects

What's Needed?

• At least 5 years of experience in Mac digital production, with a focus on packaging, die vinyl, and print
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; Sketch and Keynote experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of color management, pre-press, and print production processes
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Experience working in pet-friendly environments is preferred but not required
