Data Engineer

What's the Job?

• Design, build, and optimize modern data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, Python, Scala, Redis, Kafka, and Kafka Streams/KStream for real-time data processing.
• Develop and maintain large-scale distributed data platforms, streaming architectures, and high-performance ETL/ELT workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement emerging AI/data technologies, including vector and graph databases, to support advanced analytics and intelligent applications.
• Engage directly with clients, providing presentations and insights to meet their data needs effectively.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all data engineering activities.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on data pipeline development and management.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data integration and ETL tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or Talend.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
