Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Application Architect (Banking / Cloud & AI) NJ to join their dynamic team. As an Application Architect (Banking / Cloud & AI) NJ, you will be an integral part of the Architecture & Solution Design department supporting innovative banking platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Application Architect (Banking / Cloud & AI) NJ

Location: Pennington, NJ

Pay Range: $70-$73

What's the Job?

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for complex banking products and platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the development and governance of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, microservices, and integration patterns across multiple lines of business.
• Develop enterprise canonical models, reusable frameworks, and reference architectures aligned with organizational standards.
• Architect cloud-native applications leveraging modern platforms and integrate AI/ML use cases into enterprise solutions.
• Partner with product owners and business leaders to translate strategic goals into technical roadmaps and oversee architecture reviews and best practices adoption.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in architecture, solution design, or engineering leadership roles within the banking or financial services industry.
• Deep understanding of retail, commercial, or wealth banking platforms and business processes.
• Strong expertise in API design (REST, GraphQL), microservices, and event streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud architectures and container platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Experience working with AI/ML platforms, model deployment techniques, and intelligent automation solutions.
