Sr. Golang Developer / API Engineer

Position Titles: Senor API Engineer / Lead API Engineer
Accepted Locations: Charlotte, NC (hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)
Contract Term: 12-24 months
Pay Rate: Varies (depending on the role as well as candidate experience level/seniority)
 

1. Senior API Engineer

• 5+ years’ experience
• Experience leading large projects/teams
• Strong backend engineering focus

• Preferred languages:
  • Go (Golang), Python
  • Java acceptable if strong
  • Nice-to-have: Rust, C++
• Cloud & tools:
  • GCP (preferred)
  • Kubernetes / OpenShift
  • Linux
  • CI/CD (Git)
• Data technologies:
  • Relational (Postgres, Oracle)
  • NoSQL (MongoDB, BigQuery, Bigtable)
  • Redis (nice-to-have)

• Building real-time, scalable APIs
• APIs support:
  • AI/ML models
  • Data services integrations

• • 2. Lead API Engineer

• Strong backend engineering experience
• Experience building:
  • APIs
  • Data services (not just pipelines)

• Must have (at least one + depth):
  • Golang (highly preferred)
  • Python
• Also acceptable:
  • Java (ONLY if combined with other languages)

• Hybrid:
  • Backend engineer + some data experience
• Experience building:
  • Service layers over data
  • Scalable APIs
• Strong design thinking capability”
