Application Programmer III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Market Risk Technology department supporting global risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: $65-68 on W2

What's the Job?

• Develop and support enterprise-level applications using C# and the .NET framework.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in designing, coding, testing, and deploying new features and enhancements.
• Work with SQL databases to optimize data retrieval and storage processes.
• Contribute to risk projects that impact the organization’s core operations and compliance.

What's Needed?

• Hands-on experience in object-oriented programming with C# and .NET framework.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and best coding practices.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure within a financial institution environment.
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
