R&D Technician I

Our client, a leading organization in the food and nutrition industry, is seeking a dedicated R&D Technician I to join their innovative team. As an R&D Technician I, you will be an essential part of the Research & Development department supporting product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for food science, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: R&D Technician I

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: 24/hr on w2

What's the Job?

  • Support product development of nutritional liquid and powder products in research manufacturing facilities
  • Coordinate analytical testing of products, including preparing testing protocols and compiling results
  • Conduct qualitative evaluations of products to ensure quality standards
  • Organize laboratory activities, manage research ingredients, and enter formulations into development systems
  • Assist in manufacturing product batches, including requesting manufacturing line time, weighing ingredients, and filling containers

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field
  • Internship or equivalent experience at a food company preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
