Full Stack Node.JS Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and innovation sector, is seeking a Sr Full Stack Node.js developer to join their dynamic team. As a Sr Full Stack Node.js developer, you will be part of the software development department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Full Stack Node.js developer

Location: St. Louis, MO. Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 6 Months contract with possible extension

Local Missouri candidates only. W-2 employment required

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js
• Design and optimize cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services such as Lambdas, S3, SQS, SNS, Kafka, and Step Functions
• Create and manage robust REST APIs hosted in cloud environments to support business needs
• Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and suggest pragmatic technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices and local guidelines

What's Needed?

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in full-stack JavaScript development
• Extensive experience with JavaScript (10+ years), Node.js (10+ years), React.js (5+ years), AWS (4+ years), and PostgreSQL (5+ years)
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest and react-testing-library
• Strong understanding of building scalable REST APIs and designing relational databases in PostgreSQL
