Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for partnering with business partners to influence and facilitate the execution and successful delivery of enterprise and/or LOB initiatives.  This role supports the planning and execution of cross-functional projects by coordinating resources, defining project scope and requirements, developing timelines, and supporting organizational change to ensure successful delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:
 
  • Coordination 50%: 
    • In collaboration with Project/Program Managers:
      • Establish key Stakeholders for the planning phase of a project.
      • Update the project tool by COB each Friday with project status according to the EPMO guidelines.
    • Collaborate with Project/Program Managers, Business System Analyst (BSA), and Product Analyst (PA) to develop and document project requirements for each project following through with Jira stories to be tracked through project completion.
    • Coordinate resources to solve project risks and issues related to the project.
 
  • Compliance 20%:
    • Gain a strong understanding of Credit Union processes to include change management and environmental changes.
    • Maintain project cards and documentation within EPMO Standards
 
  • Project Tracking 20%:
    • In collaboration with Project/Program Managers:
      • Track all tasks to ensure accurate and timely completion
      • Track Resource usage
      • Establish and track project budgets
 
  • Collaboration10%:
    •  Foster cross-team collaboration to help team members to complete deliverables on time.
    • Provide  timely updates on resolution to the broader team.

Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
 
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years project coordination or other relevant experience, associate degree, or High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years project coordination or other relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
 
  • Project management certifications: Certified associate in project management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP). 
  • Working knowledge of project management software to include Jira and Microsoft Office.
