Engineering CAD Designer

Our client is seeking a Engineering CAD Designer to join their team. As a Engineering CAD Designer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting factory and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering CAD Designer
Location: Litchfield Park, AZ
Work Location: Onsite or Hybrid - Glendale, AZ
Work Schedule: Part Time 2-3 days per week 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

What's the Job?

• Utilize AutoCAD 2025 to develop preliminary designs and detailed drafts for factory engineering projects.
• Assist in preparing supporting documents for capital investment proposals in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Create industrial drawings for equipment tooling, layouts, process flow sheets, P&IDs, and fabrication details using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Support the organization and archiving of engineering drawings and manuals in both paper and electronic formats.
• Manage small building improvement projects and support factory operations with technical concepts and basic design tasks.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and Autodesk Inventor, with 4-6 years of industrial design experience preferred.
• Experience supporting engineering projects within a TPM environment is advantageous.
• Strong drafting, documentation, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and divisions.
