Infrastrcutre Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Infrastrcutre Engineer to join their team. As a Infrastrcutre Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting various technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and develop tools and services within a technical domain to support business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards, and policies.
• Contribute to the creation and integration of infrastructure tools as part of comprehensive infrastructure services.
• Facilitate deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks, and automation processes for implementation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the reliability and efficiency of infrastructure tools and services.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

What's Needed?

• Degree in computers or information technology.
• At least 8 years of expert-level solution design experience in infrastructure areas such as Unix, Windows, Middleware, or Database.
• Experience in system, database, or middleware administration and support in large-scale environments, preferably within financial services.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure domains, including network and application development stacks.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies like ESX/VMWare/vSAN and familiarity with enterprise automation tools such as Ansible.
