Our client, a massive global life sciences, biotechnology, and laboratory supply company, is seeking a dedicated Billing Specialist II to join their team. As an Billing Specialist II, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting billing and invoicing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Rate: $26/hr.
Job Type: 9-month Contract with the potential for hire or extension
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
What's the Job?
- Retrieve billing notifications and supporting documentation from various internal and external sources, including customer portals, emails, and operational systems.
- Review, validate, and consolidate billing information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer requirements.
- Prepare and generate customer invoices for Clinical Ancillary Materials services in accordance with contractual terms and billing procedures.
- Submit invoices through multiple channels such as online portals, email, EDI platforms, and other electronic invoicing systems.
- Maintain detailed records of invoice submissions, supporting documentation, and billing statuses, while proactively resolving any discrepancies or rejections.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or related finance functions.
- Proven experience preparing, validating, and submitting customer invoices, with familiarity working with billing portals and electronic invoicing systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
