Product Quality Engineer

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and product development, is seeking a dedicated Product Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Product Quality Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various teams involved in product development and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a passion for quality excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title:Product Quality Engineer

Location:Maplewood, MN

Pay Range: 30-35/hr

What's the Job?

• Manage day-to-day quality-related activities and approvals associated with new SKU setup, product documentation, and other duties as assigned
• Support laboratory, products, processes, and systems by addressing customer complaints and collaborating on corrective actions
• Engage with customers and consumers through complaint investigations, resolution, and trending, including monthly Quality Dashboard reports
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and analyze non-conforming product testing and disposition
• Drive continuous product quality improvements using methods such as PPU, DOE, Six Sigma, and Quality at the Source

What's Needed?

• Experience in product quality engineering or related field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of quality improvement tools and methodologies
• Ability to support change management related to design and process modifications
