Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Enterprise Capital Management technology team supporting cross-functional teams including data sourcing, architecture, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Hands-on application development to support current and target processes related to regulatory capital reporting.
- Collaborate with multiple technology teams to implement target architecture and migrate legacy systems to modern, scalable platforms.
- Elaborate requirements for data sourcing elements for calculating risk-weighted assets and defining business logic for financial calculations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory capital reporting under Basel rules, including Basel 3 endgame, FRTB, and SACCR.
- Develop and optimize data-intensive applications, performance tuning, and implementing innovative tech-based solutions for regulatory calculations.
What's Needed?
- Strong background in Basel regulations, Basel 3 endgame, FRTB, SACCR, and risk-weighted assets (RWA).
- Ability to read Python and translate that into logical components, with prior experience working on tools like Altryx and Trifacta.
- 5+ years of SQL programming experience, preferably with Oracle Exadata.
- Strong data analytical skills and experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
- Excellent communication skills and a creative approach to problem-solving in an agile environment.
