Machine Learning Data Scientist

Our client, a leading research and technology organization, is seeking an AI Engineer - Machine Learning to join their team. As an AI Engineer - Machine Learning, you will be part of the Research Support Department supporting innovative AI and machine learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AI Engineer - Machine Learning

Location: Redmond, WA - Remote (Work in EST time zone)

Pay Range: $73 - $82.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO/401k)
 

What's the Job?

• Collaborate with research teams to evaluate and operationalize emerging AI technologies into prototypes and experimental systems.
• Design and execute experiments to measure model performance, user engagement, and research impact.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and success metrics for advanced AI models and systems.
• Build rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts to assess practical value of new AI innovations.
• Fine-tune, validate, and benchmark machine learning models using real-world datasets and research techniques.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or applied AI development.
• Strong technical foundations in software engineering, machine learning, statistics, and experimental design.
• Experience building data-intensive applications, experimentation platforms, or AI-powered products.
• Proficiency in programming, debugging, and improving machine learning models and data pipelines.
