QA Test Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and quality assurance sector, is seeking a Test Associate to join their team. As a Test Associate, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting software testing and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, critical-thinking skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Associate

Location: Portland, OR (5 days a week onsite)

Pay Range: $17.50/hr - $19.50/hr depending on experience

What's the Job?

• Execute comprehensive testing for assigned features and areas to ensure quality delivery
• Drive end-to-end testing of features, including test case execution and exploratory testing
• Identify test and process gaps, escalating issues using industry-standard best practices
• Partner with engineering teams to clarify requirements and improve test coverage
• Maintain and update test collateral, authoring new test cases as needed

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills
• Experience with basic PC usage and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with MS Office or equivalent productivity tools
• Interest in AI and interactive technology
