Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Senior Technical Content Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Technical Content Engineer, you will be part of the Knowledge Engineering Transformation team supporting security documentation and AI-driven content solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a passion for innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $58.70 - $63.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO/401k)

Software development / scripting — solid understanding of version control, APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, and scripting; proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript strongly preferred - Not explicitly quantified, but required as a demonstrated capability; preferred candidates have prior SDE or production coding experience - 4+ years

What's the Job?

  • Develop, review, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for security and AI-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, scope, and execute content programs from ideation to publication.
  • Leverage tools such as Markdown, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines to manage content workflows efficiently.
  • Utilize agentic AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot and OpenAI Codex to automate and accelerate content creation and validation processes.
  • Monitor user feedback, engagement analytics, and content issues to continuously improve documentation quality and relevance.

What's Needed?

  • 4+ years of experience in technical content development, technical writing, or content program management for software or cloud products.
  • 2+ years of experience with docs-as-code workflows: Markdown, GitHub, pull request collaboration, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in software development and scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and familiarity with Azure AI Foundry or similar AI/ML platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software development concepts, version control, APIs, SDKs, and command-line tools.
