Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Pay range: $30/hr. - $32/hr.
Hours: 40 hours/week + potential overtime
We are seeking a Support Engineer II to provide frontline technical support for a global corporate environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, supporting users via chat, phone, email, and ticketing systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly motivated, and able to manage a high volume of requests while maintaining quality service and adherence to processes.

- 2+ years supporting Windows, Mac, and/or Linux in a corporate environment
- 2+ years of helpdesk or desk-side support experience
- Provide technical support to corporate employees across Windows, Mac, and/or Linux environments
- Troubleshoot end-user issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Respond to support requests via chat, email, phone, and ticketing systems in a timely manner
- Document all interactions clearly and accurately through detailed ticket logs
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and utilize knowledge management tools
- Escalate system or network outages appropriately to minimize downtime
- Support teleconferencing systems and AV equipment remotely
- Ensure customer satisfaction by clearly communicating solutions and next steps
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal policies and technical environments
- Adhere to assigned schedules and demonstrate flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience supporting Windows, Mac, and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate environment
- 2+ years of experience in a helpdesk or desk-side support role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Certifications such as MCSE, MCITP, or ITIL Foundation
- Experience with Active Directory
- Advanced Linux administration skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and explain technical concepts to non-technical users
