Cloud Governance Data Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and cloud services sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cloud Governance Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a Cloud Governance Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Cloud Governance team supporting transformation initiatives and ensuring optimal cloud policy adherence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Cloud Governance Data Analyst

Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)

Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

Pay rate between $70 - $76/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Support the buildout of Cloud Governance observability capabilities through developing metrics, reports, and data-driven insights.
• Work with existing tools, data sources, and teams to establish visibility into Cloud Governance performance, including use case processing, cycle times, and control outcomes.
• Create dashboards, reporting, and analytics that support transformation execution and improve decision-making processes.
• Partner closely with Cloud Governance, engineering, and PMO teams to ensure data accuracy and effective communication of insights.
• Support the definition and tracking of operational KPIs such as throughput and cycle time to enhance governance processes.

What's Needed?

• At least 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, observability, or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience working with metrics, logs, or event-based data, with a solid understanding of system or process performance analysis.
• Proficiency in building dashboards, reports, or data visualizations using BI or reporting tools.
• Ability to work with multiple data sources, including data cleansing and structuring for reporting purposes.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
