Cloud Migration Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and cloud services sector, is seeking a Cloud Migration Engineer to join their team.

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure Support team supporting cloud migration and architecture initiatives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cloud Migration Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA or Denver, CO (3 days onsite)

Pay Range: $75-88/hour, based on experience

What's the Job?

• Provide guidance on migrating applications from AWS to Azure, focusing on containerized architectures
• Advise on designing and implementing scalable, secure Azure infrastructure
• Help define the target-state architecture leveraging Azure-native services
• Design and implement Terraform-based infrastructure within Azure
• Support containerization strategies for existing applications and enable workload portability into Azure Container Apps

What's Needed?

• Proven experience leading or advising on AWS to Azure cloud migrations
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and services
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience building containerized environments and working with container platforms
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, governance, and cost optimization
