Our client, a leading organization in the technology and financial management sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior FinOps Planning Lead to join their dynamic team. As a Senior FinOps Planning Lead, you will be an integral part of the Finance and Infrastructure Planning departments supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, collaboration, and a proactive approach, which will enable success within the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on Technology Cost Management and Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps).
  • Drive technology cost transparency and optimize infrastructure investments through data-driven analysis.
  • Develop scenario-based planning models and establish prioritization frameworks for investment decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Technology Leadership, Finance, Infrastructure Engineering, and Cloud Operations teams.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to align infrastructure resources with business objectives.

What's Needed?

  • 8+ years of experience in FinOps, Technology Financial Management, Infrastructure Planning, or Cloud Cost Management.
  • Strong expertise managing technology budgets and infrastructure investments.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud Economics, FinOps Principles, Capacity Planning, and Financial Modeling.
  • Proven ability to define scenario planning models and investment prioritization frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders and delivering measurable outcomes.
