IT Project/Program Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an IT Project/Program Manager II to join their team. As an IT Project/Program Manager II, you will be part of the Technology department supporting various project initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: IT Project/Program Manager

Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $57 - $60/hr W2

What's the Job?

• Lead and support migration, transformation, development, and incident-level projects within the technology organization.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Utilize agile methodologies and Scrum practices to drive project success and continuous improvement.
• Manage project reporting, scope, risks, and issues, maintaining clear communication with internal clients and cross-functional teams.
• Develop project budgets, statements of work, and resource plans to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.

What's Needed?

• Typically, 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, with a preference for Asset Management.
• Certification in PMP and/or Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience managing multiple initiatives across people, processes, and technology.
• Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, testing, QA, and production environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
