Lab Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and analytical testing industry, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician
Pay-$20/hr
Location: Franklin Township, NJ
6 Month contract

What's the Job?

• Perform analytical chemistry testing, primarily focusing on preservatives and active ingredients, in a fast-paced environment.
• Analyze test data and use professional judgment to determine the appropriate disposition of materials based on specifications and organizational guidelines.
• Conduct all required tests on relevant samples following company specifications and test methods, utilizing DGO and FDA guidelines as references.
• Ensure traceability paperwork such as lab notebooks, Certificates of Analysis, and result reports are accurate and complete.
• Participate in investigations related to out-of-specification results, communicate findings effectively, and support decision-making processes.

What's Needed?

• BS degree in Chemistry or a relevant science field.
• 0-3 years of experience with HPLC / ICP-OES techniques.
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to resolving issues efficiently.
• Conscientious, positive attitude, self-motivated, reliable, and responsible.
• Excellent laboratory skills with a proven record of quantitative analysis excellence.
