Check Processing Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in banking operations, is seeking a Check Processing Analyst to join their team. As a Check Processing Analyst, you will be part of the Banking Operations Department supporting check processing and validation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$51

What's the Job?

• Execute validation testing on check documents to ensure compliance with MICR standards
• Analyze test results to identify formatting, print quality, and magnetic characteristics defects
• Verify MICR line accuracy, including character spacing, routing, and account field positioning
• Document and report testing outcomes, including detailed summaries and failure reasons
• Collaborate with internal teams to share test results and support operational processes

What's Needed?

• Experience in testing, quality assurance, or operations within banking or document processing
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Knowledge of MICR standards and check processing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Outlook
• Ability to interpret technical standards and testing criteria
