Our client, a technology and security systems solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Technical Author to join their team. As a Senior Technical Author, you will be part of the Documentation & Product Content team supporting Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Support teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to simplify complex concepts which will align successfully in the organization.


Job Title: Senior Technical Author
Location: Spring, TX (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Pay Range: $32/hour on W2 (1-year contract)

What’s the Job?

  • Create and maintain technical documentation (guides, KB articles, FAQs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and quality
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation
  • Manage web postings, SharePoint content, and digital asset tracking
  • Analyze content performance and recommend improvements

What’s Needed?

  • 5–10 years of technical writing experience in enterprise software/security systems
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Experience with Git, markup languages, and documentation tools
  • Knowledge of IT systems, databases, or security architectures
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
