Our client, a leading organization in the technology transformation sector, is seeking an Agile Scrum Master to join their team. As an Agile Scrum Master, you will be part of the Transformation Support Department supporting multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong facilitation abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Agile Scrum Master
Location:Chandler, AZ (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)
Pay Range:$65 - $73/hr on W2
What's the Job?
- Guide and coach one or more teams on Scrum practices and help strengthen their understanding of Agile principles and delivery discipline.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and other delivery routines as needed.
- Help teams maintain a healthy backlog of deliverables, epics, and stories in collaboration with workstream leads and relevant stakeholders.
- Promote structured backlog readiness by helping ensure work is sufficiently defined, sequenced, and understood before team commitment.
- Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal to support delivery timelines and team effectiveness.
What's Needed?
- Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and dependency management.
- Experience facilitating Agile delivery for technology programs, products, or transformation initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and evolving priorities.
- Ability to coordinate the flow of work across deliverables, epics, and stories to support incremental and predictable delivery.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to run effective team ceremonies, working sessions, and cross-team alignment meetings.
- Experience managing team dependencies, delivery risks, impediments, and escalation paths in a structured and timely manner.
