Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Development Process Engineer to join their team. As a Development Process Engineer, you will be part of the Process Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Development Process Engineer
Location: St. Paul, MN (100% On-Site)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Pay Range: $57/hr. - $62/hr.
What's the Job?
- Develop and establish manufacturing processes based on product specifications for catheter sets.
- Evaluate process and design alternatives using Design for Manufacturability principles.
- Manage program compliance with Quality Control requirements, including Design Control and Process Validation.
- Support process improvements, equipment qualifications, and process validations to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Operations, and other departments to optimize manufacturing workflows.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in the medical device or related industry.
- Experience working within a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
