Lab IT Support Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and laboratory support sector, is seeking a dedicated Lab IT Support Engineer to join their team. As a Lab IT Support Engineer, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting laboratory operations and technical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Bradly, IL (Kankakee)

What's the Job?

• Provide technical support to business users to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
• Perform system imaging (ghost imaging) of lab computers and endpoints, including OS deployment and configuration.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on PCs and workstations.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures and system configurations.

What's Needed?

• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, OS, and application-level issues.
• Hands-on experience with system imaging tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and automation (e.g., macros, VBA, data analysis).
• Good understanding of Windows environments, networking basics, and system performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
