Network Engineer

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer III, you will be part of the IT Department supporting network infrastructure and security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Network Engineer III

Location: Milwaukee, WI

What's the Job?

• Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless network issues promptly and effectively.
• Configure and manage firewalls, ACLs, and remote access solutions to support secure connectivity.
• Lead network projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
• Monitor network performance and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.

What's Needed?

• At least 5 years of experience in advanced bridging and routing integration technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.
• Experience with firewall configuration, ACLs, and remote access management.
• Strong skills in network design and architecture.
• Knowledge of network monitoring, reporting, and security tools, including log analysis and VoIP systems is a plus.
