Senior Java Application Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Java Application Developer to join their team. As a Senior Java Application Developer, you will be part of the Application Development Department supporting innovative financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Senior Java Application Developer

Location:Newark, DE

Pay Range:$65.06

What's the Job?

• Understand business needs and update application code with unit testing
• Provide development support during testing phases
• Create proof of concept for evaluating new technologies
• Support application deployment and develop production plans
• Work collaboratively within an agile team environment, possibly interacting with clients

What's Needed?

• Strong knowledge and expertise in container & cloud technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, and Azure
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies
• Good knowledge of Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NoSQL, RESTful services, and WS-Security
• Hands-on experience with tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Autosys
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server) and Unix/Linux scripting
