Firewall Enginer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Firewall Engineer to join their team. As a Firewall Engineer, you will be part of the Information Security Engineering department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Information Security Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex security challenges, providing in-depth evaluations of variable factors.
• Contribute to resolving security issues and collaborate with team members to meet deliverables.
• Support large-scale planning related to security engineering projects.
• Collaborate with client personnel to ensure security policies and procedures are effectively implemented.

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education.
• Strong expertise in Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewall technologies.
• Experience working within large organizations with complex security environments.
• Solid understanding of network protocols and routing concepts.
• Scripting skills are a plus to enhance automation and efficiency.
