Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a dedicated Hardware Lab Technician to join their team. As a Hardware Lab Technician, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Support Department supporting the Server Hardware Validation team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Manage and maintain server platforms within the lab environment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Build, configure, and validate DDR DIMM configurations across various server systems.
  • Perform hardware bring-up, system setup, and install components such as CPU, memory, and storage devices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot server hardware issues by analyzing logs and identifying root causes.
  • Support lab operations by maintaining inventory, performing system upgrades, and ensuring system availability for testing.

What's Needed?

  • Associate degree (AA/AAS) or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in lab technician roles, hardware validation, or server environments.
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware platforms and system components.
  • Familiarity with DDR memory (DIMMs) and system configurations.
  • Basic knowledge of Python scripting, Linux tools, and hardware debugging concepts.
