Senior Endpoint Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Endpoint Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the End User Computing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, collaborative spirit, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Endpoint Engineer

Location: Remote - Must be in EST time zone

Duration: 12+ months with the potential extension / conversion
 

What's the Job?

• Own and enhance macOS and Ubuntu endpoint management workflows to ensure secure, scalable, and supportable services.
• Lead resolution of complex technical issues involving macOS devices, applications, and security controls.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and support teams to improve the end user experience in an agile environment.
• Support endpoint security initiatives by implementing controls, monitoring device health, and assisting with incident response activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles to support endpoint services.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of five years of experience supporting a large macOS environment in a medium-to-large enterprise setting.
• Experience with Linux/Ubuntu administration or support is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Certifications in Jamf, Apple, Microsoft, or Agile methodologies are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of macOS, Linux/Ubuntu, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, and familiarity with virtualization platforms like Citrix and VMware.
