Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Vulnerability Management Engineer (Endpoint) to join their team. As a Vulnerability Management Engineer (Endpoint), you will be part of the Digital Nexus Technology organization supporting enterprise-wide security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Vulnerability Management Engineer (Endpoint)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Pay Range: $45 - $50/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Identify, assess, and resolve desktop operating system and application vulnerabilities to ensure endpoint security and stability.
  • Manage end-of-support and end-of-life software, including planning and executing upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning.
  • Implement and manage third-party software patches and updates to maintain system integrity and security.
  • Perform analysis to determine if vulnerable or outdated software can be packaged for resolution across multiple devices.
  • Monitor, report on, and optimize outcomes for software fixes, upgrades, or uninstallation, ensuring efficient desktop operations and user satisfaction.

What's Needed?

  • 3+ years of experience in the technology field with expertise in troubleshooting software vulnerabilities in large enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (primarily Win11), Mac OS, and related management tools like Intune and Entra.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash, and familiarity with virtualization platforms like Citrix, VMWare, and MS AVD.
  • Excellent organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
