ERP Finance Transformation Analyst (SAP S/4)

We are seeking a Finance Transformation & SAP S/4 Analyst to support a major finance transformation initiative and SAP S/4 implementation. This role will partner closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to improve financial processes, optimize master data, support planning activities, and help design the future-state finance operating model.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of finance, FP&A, process improvement, and ERP transformation experience, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable financial processes and data structures.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4 Finance Transformation

  • Support finance workstreams related to SAP S/4 design, configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and business teams to align:
    • Profit center structures
    • Cost center hierarchies
    • Financial data models
    • Chart of accounts and reporting hierarchies
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Develop and execute testing scenarios and support user acceptance testing.
  • Validate system outputs to ensure alignment with business and reporting requirements.

Finance Master Data Assessment & Cleanup

  • Perform detailed analysis of existing finance master data, including:
    • Profit centers
    • Cost centers
    • Customer and segment attributes
  • Identify data quality issues, duplication, inconsistencies, and reporting misalignments.
  • Recommend and support master data cleanup and standardization efforts.
  • Help establish sustainable data governance practices and ownership models.

Process Design & Governance

  • Define and document standardized finance processes and workflows.
  • Develop procedures for:
    • Financial planning and forecasting
    • Master data management
    • Data governance and stewardship
    • Financial reporting processes
  • Improve process efficiency, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Create documentation that supports long-term operational excellence.

FP&A Support

  • Support business unit forecasting, planning, and budgeting activities.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Develop scenario models related to pricing, demand, supply, and operational changes.
  • Build and maintain financial models, reporting tools, and dashboards.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and business performance analyses.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Transformation, Financial Systems, or Corporate Finance.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementation, finance transformation, or business process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience working with financial master data, reporting structures, and data governance concepts.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models.
  • Ability to gather business requirements, document processes, and work across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
