Energy Manager (Remote / PST Preferred)

Our client, a leader in the data center and energy management industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Energy Manager (Remote / PST Preferred) to join their dynamic team. As an Energy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting data center initiatives and asset management, ensuring the seamless integration of energy data and obligations during critical transition periods. Job Title: Energy Manager

Location: Menlo Park, California (Remote)

Pay Range: $100-110/hr 
 

What's the Job?

• Maintain, update, and manage documents and data related to Data Center utility interconnect agreements (IXA) and energy supply agreements (ESA).
• Support transparency and reporting of IXA and ESA obligations to enhance internal efficiencies and risk management.
• Track compliance with contract milestones and deliverables, providing detailed reports on progress and forecasts.
• Assist in resolving issues related to ongoing contracts and project operations, ensuring smooth execution.
• Analyze operational and financial performance of connected and supplied data centers to optimize energy usage and costs.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in the electric utility industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of energy markets and utility operations.
• Knowledge of utility interconnect agreements (IXC) and energy supply agreements (ESA), with familiarity in US energy markets.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills to manage complex data and stakeholder interactions.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
