Energy Manager (Remote / PST Preferred)

Job title: Energy Manager
Location: 100% remote & preferred PST hours
Contract Length: 6 months as of now.

LCR: $160-$180/hr (max) includes any Mark ups

Client is seeking a highly skilled Energy Manager for a temporary assignment. This role will support Client’s Data Center initiatives and asset management by focusing on bringing previous and current data and obligations into a single source of truth during the transition period. 

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update documents and data related to Data Center utility interconnect agreements (IXA) and energy supply agreements (ESA).
• Support transparency and reporting of IXA and ESA obligations in meaningful ways to improve internal efficiencies and risk identification.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract milestones and other deliverables with reporting against estimated schedules and forecast.
• Support resolution of issues in ongoing contracts and project operations
• Track and analyze operational and financial performance in connecting (IXA) and supplying (ESA) Client’s grid connected data centers.

• Proven experience in the electric utility industry.
• Knowledge of utility IXC and ESA,  and US energy markets.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.
